The web of Wyrd is a symbol from Norse mythology that represents the fate of the world, which is spun by the Norns beneath the world tree Yggdrasil. The symbol contains all the runes, which symbolizes all possible fates.
The concept of Wyrd is also important in the Old English poem Beowulf and was a cultural concept for the Anglo-Saxons. It is usually translated as "fate," "destiny," or "doom".
The web of Wyrd can be depicted as nine lines that are locked together to form the building blocks of the universe. The underlying concept is that the web holds everything together in all dimensions, including time
These Altar Cloths are engraved on high quality genuine rabbit pelts. All of our rabbit pelts are ethically sourced. You can rest easy knowing the rabbits are never ever raised for or harmed for their fur.
Altar cloths are used for rituals, rune casting, and as a centerpiece for your pagan or heathen altar. It also can be used as a wrap to protect your ritual tools.
Due to the nature of natural animal hides, please note that engravings might vary in color with some spots lighter and others darker. **Please see last photo for good example.**
Sizes and color vary from hide to hide, but I make every effort to provide an altar cloth that most closely matches the listing photos. Furs typically range from 12-16" lengthwise.
***WARNING***
Due to the natural fibers and hairs attached to the rabbit hide, the laser might leave a burnt hair smell after engraving, which dissipates pretty quickly. Do not be alarmed if you smell this upon opening your package.

1. Condition your clay so its easily mailable.
2. Roll out your clay to a uniform thickness, we recommend 2.5mm-3mm (We sell acrylic guides for this separately)
3. Dusting a thin layer of corn/all purpose flour on the stamp and your clay will make it easier to peel the clay from the tray. Be sure to brush off any access flour before rolling so it does not clot on your image.
4. Gently lay your flattened clay on top of the stamp and roll your roller several times over the clay. Make sure you turn the tray so you're rolling from each direction to make sure the clay goes into each part of the design.
5. Be careful when peeling your clay from the tray to prevent tears or stretching the design. Brush off any remaining flour.
All sizing stating on our listings is using American Imperial Unit Measurements unless specifically stated otherwise. Please check your sizing before placing your order as we do not accept returns or exchanges. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Unique altarcloth (I'll be using it for divination purposes). Well-crafted rabbit skin with wyrd rune burned into it by modern pyrography (lasers!).
